This award is for Illinois resident students who are members of the Illinois National Guard planning to attend a public or private college in Illinois. Application requirements for the Illinois National Guard (ING) Grant Program are:Application form
Eligibility Criteria
This award is for U.S. students. Must have completed one full year of service in the Illinois National Guard and meet one of the two following criteria for being a member of the Illinois National Guard: be active in the Illinois National Guard; or have been active in the Illinois National Guard for at least five consecutive years and have been called to federal active duty for at least six months and be within the twelve-month period immediately following his/her discharge from the Illinois National Guard.
