About the Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, who's most important mission is to make colleges affordable for students in Illinois. ISAC offers residents in Illinois a variety of scholarship programs, for which the eligibility is based on factors such as academic achievements, financial need, field of study, or service in the military.

ISAC offers several state and federal-funded programs to assist students with paying back their student loans. The ING grant program helps assist students who are members of the Illinois National Guard. As ING is the entitlement program, all the members of the Illinois National Guard will receive the grant amount.
