About the Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, who's most important mission is to make colleges affordable for students in Illinois. ISAC offers residents in Illinois a variety of scholarship programs, for which the eligibility is based on factors such as academic achievements, financial need, field of study, or service in the military.

IVG program helps all the eligible students by helping them pay tuition and other mandatory fees. The grant is limited to students only from Illinois public colleges or any community institutions. Students getting the amount can make use of it in their UG or graduate-level full-time enrollment.  IVG also includes the expenses for the non-credit courses that meet the meaning of tuition fees.
