About the Scholarship
Jack F. Tolbert Memorial Grant Program is accredited by the Maryland Higher Education Commission. MHEC is the State of Maryland's advanced education organization board responsible for building up statewide strategies for Maryland public and private colleges and revenue-driven career schools. MHEC also manages state monetary guide programs that influence students on statewide premises.
How to apply for the Jack F. Tolbert Memorial Grant Program?
Students applying for this scholarship must have been completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application.
Candidates must demonstrate financial need and apply to the financial aid office of the private career school you will attend.

This scholarship provides up to $500. Funds may not be available to award all eligible students.
The awards are renewable for one additional year and the total number of awards offered by this scholarship varies depending on the amount of available funds.
The applications deadline by the end of March 01, 2020. All students are informed to submit their scholarship application and other required application before the due date to meet the eligibility. Applications and other related information are available on the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) website.
All applicants and their parents (if you are a dependent student) must be Maryland residents.
An applicant must enroll at an approved Maryland private career school.
An applicant must enroll for at least 18 clock hours per week.
