About the Scholarship

James Bridenbaugh Memorial Scholarship is recognized and is sponsored by the American Floral Endowment. A charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) that provides financial assistance to research and scholarships in floriculture and environmental horticulture for the benefit of growers, wholesalers, retailers, allied industry organizations and the general public.

James Bridenbaugh Memorial Scholarship is provided for sophomore, junior or senior understudies who are seeking after a profession in floral design and advertising of new flowers and plants.

What are the requirements needed while applying for this scholarship grant?

  • The students must submit an application form, which includes a career goal statement.

  • Two letters of recommendation are to be submitted, one from a teacher evaluating the applicant as a student and one from an employer evaluating him/her as a worker.

  • A current official transcript from the applicant's most recent school is to be submitted to demonstrate their excellence in academics.

  • The candidates are educated to present their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to get this award.

James Bridenbaugh Memorial Scholarship award amounts to

  • This scholarship award amounts to $4000 annually which is non-renewable, the awards are issued in the cash form to a student.

  • The total number of awards offered by this scholarship is limited to only one deserving candidate each academic year.

Deadline info

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
