About the Scholarship

Sertoma International offers scholarships for hearing-impaired U.S. undergraduate students. The applicant must be a high school senior or current undergraduate student at time of application and have a grade point average of 3.2 or higher. Application requirements for the Sertoma Hard of Hearing and Deaf Scholarship are:Application form Recommendation letters (2) Personal statement Transcript Audiogram/Hearing health professional statement

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must have a minimum of a 40dB bilateral hearing loss, as evidenced on audiogram by an SRT of 40dB or greater in both ears. Must enroll as a full-time student. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Must be a high school senior or current undergraduate student. The student must pursue a bachelor's degree at a college or university in the United States.
