About the Scholarship

Single undergraduate parents who are the head of the household and live in Jefferson County, Arkansas are eligible for this award. Students must have one or more children under the age of 18 and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must have been a resident of Jefferson County in Arkansas for the past six months or more. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must have one or more children under the age of 18. Must be the head of the household. Must have and maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Must be single (never married), divorced, or widowed. Please note: Students who are separated or legally separated are not eligible for this award. Must be a high school graduate and/or GED recipient or older to apply for this undergraduate award. Students cannot have previously earned an undergraduate degree, except for students pursuing a Master of Arts in Education degree.
