About the Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded by the Kansas Regents, the governing body of the state's six universities and the coordinating board for the state's 32 public higher education institutions. The Board also administers the state's student financial aid, education, and career and technical education programs. This grant is funded by the state of Kansas and is available to Kansas residents enrolled full-time at a private college or university located in Kansas, the state universities, or Washburn University.
How to apply for the scholarship?
The applicant must complete the form which is available on the Kansas Regents site.
Along with the application, the applicant should submit his/her academic transcripts and FAFSA.
How much the scholarship award amounts to?
The award amounts ranges from:
- $200 - $3,500 at the private institutions
- $100 - $1,500 at the public institutions.
The deadline date is set for April 1
Applicant must be a Kansas resident, attend an eligible Kansas institution.
Applicant must be a full-time student.
Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
