About the Scholarship

This scholarship is given by the organization American Indian College Fund. This organization is established in 1989 per giving assistance to those people who want to do higher study. The people who are studying at Tribal College or University are eligible for this scholarship.

The applicants have to submit their recommendation letter.

The applicants have to submit an essay about ownself, career planning and interest.

The awarded amount for this scholarship is $8,000 per year and is non-renewable.

The number of awards given to the eligible candidates varies depends on eligible candidates applied and availability of funds.


Deadline for the scholarship:

The deadline for this scholarship is the 31st of May.


Eligibility Criteria

  • An applicant must have scored at least 2.0-grade point average out of 4 to be eligible for the scholarship.

  • An applicant must be valedictorian or salutatorian of 2013 high school class.
