About the Scholarship

This award is available to African American seniors planning to graduate in 2014 from a Butler or Warren County, Ohio, high school. Selection is based on both academic and non-academic achievements as well as financial need. Application requirements for the Louie F. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be an African American student. African American is defined using the federal Equal Employment Opportunity definition of 'all persons having origins in the Black racial groups of Africa.' Must be a graduate of a Butler or Warren County, Ohio high school. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Must plan to enroll as a full-time student in an accredited U.S. not-for-profit college or university (for-profit colleges/universities and trade schools are not eligible) no later than the beginning of the 2010-2011 academic year.
