This award is for Louisiana resident high school students who are currently in 11th or 12th grade. The student must be concurrently enroll at a Lousiana public college in a vocational course of study leading to an industry-based certification in an eligible demand Occupation. Eligibility Criteria
This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Must be a resident of Louisiana. Must be currently enrolled at a public high school and be concurrently enrolled at a Louisiana public college. Must plan to enroll in no more than six credit hours per semester. Must be an 11th or 12th grade high school student at time of application. Must have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher on all courses attempted. Must enroll in a vocational course of study leading to an industry-based certification in a demand occupation as designated by LOSFA.
