About the Scholarship

LNESC and LULAC established the LULAC National Scholarship Fund (LNSF) to help youth in underserved communities earn a college education. There are three merit awards, each dependent on GPA, test scores and community service. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a full-time or part-time student. Must have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Must send application and supporting materials to the LULAC council in his/her town. If there are no LULAC councils in the applicant's state, then the student is ineligible. Must be a Hispanic student. Must score a 23 or higher on the ACT OR an 1100 or higher on the SAT.
