About the Scholarship
Lynch Family Legacy Scholarship (Hillsborough) is recognized and is accredited by the Hillsborough Education Foundation. The organization came into existence in the year 1987, HCC aims at graduating all students in Hillsborough County Public Schools and prepares them with the skills necessary for postsecondary, career, and life success, and every student should have access to opportunity to benefit from a high-quality education.
In the year 1998, John and Linda Lynch built up the Lynch Family Legacy Scholarships to profit understudy competitors. Through the grant program, the Lynch family gives monetary help to secondary school senior understudy competitors in the Tampa Bay and Denver regions to apply towards educational cost at their preferred school
How to apply for this scholarship?
A student must first fill in the FAFSA application form to be eligible for the scholarship and determine their financial position to pay for the education.
Candidates must submit an essay along with a three-letter of recommendation.
Applicants are chosen based on their previous academic performance, athletic accomplishments, and service & community involvement.

The scholarship amounts to $2500 annually and is nonrenewable.
A total of 2 awards are offered each year to the deserving students.
All the documents and applications must be submitted to the institution no later than January 14 to avail the benefits of the scholarship. Students are informed to submit their scholarship application and other required application before the due date to be considered for this scholarship. Applications and other related information are available on the Hillsborough Community Foundation website.
Applicant must be a high school senior student-athletes in the Tampa Bay and Denver areas.
Scholarship applicants are chosen based on their academic performance and must have earned at least a 3.0-grade point average out of 4 to be eligible for the scholarship.
