About the Scholarship

This scholarship is available for Maine college juniors and seniors who are under the age of 25 and have completed one full year (28 semester hours) of undergraduate studies. Students must have a grade point average of 3.2 or higher. Application requirements for the Maine State Society of Washington, D.C. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must have been born in or have been a legal resident of the state of Maine for four or more years; or have a parent who was born in or has been a legal resident of the state of Maine for four or more years. Must be enrolled at a four-year degree-granting, non-profit institution of higher learning in the state of Maine, which must be listed as fully accredited in the latest edition of Accredited Institutions published by the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation. Must have a grade point average of 3.2 or higher. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be under 25 as of April 1. Must be enrolled as a full-time student.
