About the Scholarship

U.S. and Canadian citizens/permanent residents who will have completed no more than 12 hours toward an MLS/MLIS degree prior to June 1 of the award year are eligible for this award. Students must attend an ALA-accredited library school and plan to enter the field of library youth services. Application requirements for the Mary V. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for international and U.S. students. Must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen/permanent resident. Must specialize in the field of library youth services. Must attend an institution accredited by the American Library Association (ALA). A list of ALA-accredited library schools is available at www.ala.org/accreditedprograms/directory/search. Must pursue an MLS/MLIS/MIS degree.
