About the Scholarship

This award is available to Massachusetts undergraduate students who are 24 years of age or younger and plan to enroll or are currently enrolled at a Massachusetts public college or university in a degree, certificate, or non-credit program. Students must have been in the custody of the Department of Children and Families and have been adopted by a Massachusetts resident or employee. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be 24 years of age or younger at the start of the academic year. Must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen. Must be or have been in the custody of the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and have been adopted through DCF. Must attend or plan to attend a Massachusetts public college or university. Must be enrolled or plan to enroll in an undergraduate degree, certificate or short-term certificate program, or be taking non-credit courses. Eligible courses include any state-supported course offered by an institution at a public college or university, excluding all graduate courses and courses in the MD program at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Must have been adopted by an eligible Massachusetts state employee or eligible Massachusetts resident.
