About the Scholarship

U.S. and Canadian citizens/permanent residents who will have completed no more than 12 hours towards an MLS/MLIS/MIS degree prior to June 1 of the award year are eligible for this award. Students must attend an ALA-accredited library school, be studying in the area of library and information studies, and be working as part of a library support staff. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for international and U.S. students. Must be working in a library as part of the support staff. Must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Must pursue an MLS/MLIS/MIS degree. Must enroll in a program accredited by the American Library Association (ALA). A list of ALA-accredited programs can be found at www.ala.org/accreditedprograms/directory/search.
