About the Scholarship

This award is open to U.S. students who are 19 to 25 years of age and are legally blind (20/200 or less vision after correction). Students must submit an original music composition. Application requirements for the Music for the Blind Composition Award are:Application form Recommendation letter $5 entry fee Music comps. Affidavit of blindness

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a native-born or naturalized U.S. citizen. Must have reached his/her 19th birthday, but not his/her 26th birthday, by the application deadline.
