About the Scholarship

This award is for U.S. college seniors or graduate students who are enrolled in a full-time course of study in a field related to the television industry. The applicant must attend a school within the ADI (area of dominant influence) of the television stations within the Chicago/Midwest chapter jurisdiction OR be a relative of a member in good standing of the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the Television Academy. Application requirements for the NATAS Chicago/Midwest Chapter Scholarship for College Students are:Application form Recommendation letter (2+) Official Transcript Resume Interview (finalists only)

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must demonstrate a course of study that supports the intention to pursue a career in the television industry. Must be a full-time student. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must have attained senior-level status, in a bachelor's degree program, as of the fall term of the year of the application OR be enrolled in a graduate degree program in that term. Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university within the ADI (area of dominant influence) of the television stations within the Chicago/Midwest chapter jurisdiction OR be a relative of a member in good standing of the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the Television Academy. The television markets the Chicago/Midwest Chapter covers are: Chicago, Peoria-Bloomington, and Rockford, Illinois; South Bend-Elkhart, Indiana; and Greenbay, Madison, Milwaukee, and Wausau, Wisconsin.
