About the Scholarship

Full time high school seniors with GPAs of at least 3.0 are eligible for this award. Students must be the dependent children or direct descendants of an active, reserve, retired or honorably discharged member of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, U.S.-flag Merchant Marine, or U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps. Application requirements for the Navy League Foundation Scholarship Program are:Application form Personal statement Official Transcript Recommendation letters Test score Proof of Residency/service FAFSA

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 grade scale (equivalent to a B average). Must be a U.S. citizen. Must plan to enroll full time. Must be the dependent child or a direct descendant of an active, reserve, retired or honorably discharged member of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, U.S.-flag Merchant Marine, or U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps.
