About the Scholarship
Questbridge College Prep Scholarship is recognized and is sponsored by QuestBridge to the high school juniors residing in the U.S.
This scholarship prepares and trains outstanding financially backward high school individuals to become successful academically and achieve goals in leading colleges.
This scholars program awards the high-achieving high school juniors from low-income backgrounds with the knowledge, confidence, and resources to apply to top colleges and pay for their education with no financial burden.
What is the application process?
The process starts with a student fill out the online application with all the necessary details. One can find the application form on the official website of the scholarship.
A student must submit two recommendation letters from former or current teachers.
An applicant must also send their secondary school report completed by a high school counselor, and high school academic transcripts along with ACT/SAT to prove their excellence in academics.
Students should also prepare to answer questions about financial information and tax records during the online application process.
Award Amount and Deadline
The scholarship award amounts to $50000 available to ten deserving candidates per academic year and it is non-renewable.
All applicants are required to send the official transcripts on or before 26th September. Any delay in the submission of the application form will lead to disqualification.
Applicants must be a high school junior at the time of application.
A recipient must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident. If the applicant is currently in the process of applying for citizenship or residency, he/she may still be eligible. Please contact QuestBridge for more information.
A candidate must show outstanding academic achievement.
Past recipients have typically come from households earning less than $60,000 annually.
