About the Scholarship
The NFAA youngARTS Program is sponsored by the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts (NFAA) to assist the students financially to pursue master classes in artists to become a presidential scholar of Arts in the U.S and helps to receive a lifetime of creative and professional development opportunities. The award program helps people to achieve national recognition. In order to receive this scholarship award, a student must have a talent for dance, jazz, film, and video, music, photography, theater, visual arts, voice, or writing.
How to Apply for this scholarship?
Applications are available online from the official NFAA website. An eligible applicant can register online to apply for this award.
A student may apply in one or more categories in up to 10 disciplines that are dance, cinematic arts, jazz, music, design, photography, theater, visual arts, voice, or writing.
A student needs to pay the fee of $31 for online registration which is required for each category in which he/she applies.
In order to register, each student will need the information of his/her social security numbers, a valid credit card, and the names of two teachers who have had a profound influence on his/her artistic development.
Award Amount and Deadline:
The award amount for this scholarship is $10000 available to many applicants per academic year.
The deadline date for this scholarship is October 31st. The applicants must apply for this scholarship before the given deadline date.
An applicant must be 15 to 18 years of age or in grades 10 through 12.
A student must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
A recipient must have a talent for dance, jazz, film, and video, music, photography, theater, visual arts, voice, or writing.
