About the Scholarship
This award is for U.S. and international students who have a minimum of one parent or grandparent who has been an SME member in good standing for the last two years (includes step-mothers and step-fathers). The applicant must be a high school senior or current undergraduate student who has completed no more than 30 college credit hours and have a 3.0 grade point average or higher. Eligibility Criteria
Must be a full-time student. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Must pursue a degree in manufacturing engineering, manufacturing engineering technology, or a closely related engineering field of study at an accredited college or university the United States. Must have a minimum of one parent or grandparent who has been an SME member in good standing for the last two years (includes step-mothers and step-fathers). This award is for international and U.S. students. Must reside within the United States or Canada. Must be a graduating high school senior or undergraduate student at time of application.
