About the Scholarship

This scholarship is open to spouses of active duty or retired Army soldiers and widow(er)s of soldiers who died on active duty or in retired status to pursue their first undergraduate degree. Students must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher; scholarships are based on financial need. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be pursuing his/her first undergraduate degree. This scholarship cannot be used for second undergraduate nor graduate degrees. Must be registered in DEERS (Defense Eligibility Enrollment Reporting System). Must be the spouse of an active duty or retired soldier OR the widow(er) of a soldier who died while on active duty or while retired. Must be enrolled, accepted, or pending acceptance as a part-time or full-time student in a postsecondary or vocational institution approved and accredited by the U.S. Department of Education.
