Delaware is a state known for its ancient history and also as one the smallest states of the nation. Delaware Scholarship Requirements

There are few general requirements that one has to fulfill in order to get a
Delaware Scholarship.

  • A new first-year student shall be admitted and attend classes in Delaware. 

  • A student must satisfy Delaware residency requirements as set forth in Delaware Tech's residency policy.

  • A student shall have graduated from a Delaware public or Delaware non-public high school.

  • A student must have a minimum cumulative average of either 80 or higher on a 100 point scale, a grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale as indicated on the student's official high school transcript, or a letter grade of C+.

  • The equivalency standards for Delaware home-schooled students shall be a complete homeschooled academic transcript or a combined score of 1350 on the new SAT or a composite ACT score of at least 19.

  • The student shall not have been convicted of any felony and the student and parent/legal guardian or relative caregiver shall certify such fact.

  • A student shall have satisfied admission standards as determined by Delaware and must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program.

  • A student shall have applied for all appropriate forms of financial aid for which the student is eligible for.
