Pennsylvania is home to America’s First University, i.e. the University of Pennsylvania. The state has constantly supported its students and has believed in their ability by offering them several college scholarships to help them with their educational expenses.

Some of the famous universities and colleges of Pennsylvania are the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn), Penn State University, Temple University, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), University of Pittsburgh, or Swarthmore College. Even if you don’t currently reside in Pennsylvania but plan to attend one of its prestigious colleges or grad schools, then you can also opt for its college scholarships.

What is Pennsylvania Scholarship?

Pennsylvania Scholarship is a form of financial aid or grants offered to the students of Pennsylvania to cover the cost of their higher education. The state of Pennsylvania over the years has provided thousands of college scholarships to its students.

The resident students in the state of Pennsylvania are blessed to have a wide variety of financial aid programs designed to help them achieve their post-secondary educational goals. There are several programs and these consist of scholarships, grants, and loan forgiveness programs that are supported by the state government, and monitored, administered and regulated through the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency.

PHEAA has been in existence since 1963 and has been helping thousands of students in achieving their dream of earning a college degree. Even today it continues to offer valuable financial advice and assistance to students of Pennsylvania.

Today these scholarships have made it possible for students to have access to higher education and to attend a college of their choice. Otherwise, students always live in constant fear of being indebted with student loans. There are a wide variety of sources for grants and college scholarships in Pennsylvania for its students' community.
