About the Scholarship
The "TAMU Bill and Rita Stout Academic Excellence Award" scholarship is awarded by the organization Texas A&M University for the full-time graduate and undergraduate students of Texas A&M University. This scholarship gives assistance to the eligible candidates for their tuition fees, board, room and books.
How to apply for the scholarship?
Applications are available on the official website Texas A&M University and all the applicants must access the online application in order to apply for this scholarship.
- Applicants has to log in and then can apply through TAMU 'Net ID'.
- He/she should be sure to complete the 'Eligibility and Financial Resources' pages within the 'International/Study Abroad' section of the application.
- Applicant must have to submit FAFSA or TASFA certificate.
A student must submit the Official scorecards of ACT/SAT to demonstrate the completion of the graduation semester as well as academic performance.
In addition to that applicant must write and submit and a two-page essay on a topic listed in the scholarship application.
The awarded amount for the scholarship:
The amount awarded for this scholarship is $600 per semester and is non-renewable. The number of awards given to the eligible candidates is one.
Deadline for the scholarship:
The deadline for this scholarship is the 1st of February.
At the time of applying for this scholarship, the candidate must be a graduating high school senior.
The applicant must reside in the U.S. or be an eligible non-citizen.
The average grade point of the applicant must be 3.0 or higher.
The applicant must be a plan to enrol at Texas A&M University.
He/she must be a full-timer.
