About the Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded by the Scott Cooper Miami Scholarship. The scholarship was named after Scott Cooper who is a Miami resident and advocate for many businesses that operate in Miami. This scholarship is designed to reward future leaders in business, media, and education. The program helps post-secondary students in establishing themselves in the job market. Consideration is given to creative and entertaining essays.
How to apply for the scholarship?
The applicant should complete the application which can be found on the scholarship site.
Along with the application, the applicant should submit an essay of maximum 500 words that respond to the topic question: "Which public figure do you admire the most, and why?"
The application and the essay should be submitted before the deadline date.
How much the scholarship award amounts to?
The award amounts to $500 yearly and is non-renewable.
Two scholarships are provided each year.
The deadline date is set for October 15
- The applicant must be currently attending or accepted by an accredited College/University in Canada or the U.S.
Must be accepted to or enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
Must be majoring in business, management, marketing, communications, journalism, education, or fitness.
