About the Scholarship

This award is for Jewish students living in and studying in the New York metropolitan area. Applicants must demonstrate significant financial need. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident. International students visiting the United States with F, B, M, J, or other visas are not eligible for this award. Must attend a college or graduate or professional school located in the New York metropolitan area and must be physically in attendance at a New York metropolitan area campus. Students who are studying abroad or at satellite campuses or who are completing internships outside of the New York metropolitan area are not eligible to apply. Must be Jewish. Must be a high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate and graduate award. Must be a resident of either New York City or the counties of Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester (the New York metropolitan area). Please note that returning students not originally residents of the New York metropolitan area who have registered to vote in the New York metropolitan area are deemed to be New York metropolitan area residents for purposes of applying for this scholarship.
