About the Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded by the Wyoming Department of Education, an organization whose mission is to significantly increase the percentage of Wyoming Students that are College, Career, and Military ready. The Hathway Scholarship was established to provide an incentive for Wyoming's students to prepare for and pursue their post-secondary education in the state. Every Wyoming middle and high school student is automatically eligible for the Hathaway Scholarship. The GPA and ACT scores are considered during the selection.
How to apply for the scholarship?
The applicant should complete the application which can be found on the Wyoming Department of Education site.
Prior to the beginning of the semester, students must apply for the Hathaway Scholarship.
Along with the application, the applicant should also submit, academic transcripts, ACT/SAT scores, GPA scores, and FAFSA.
How much the scholarship award amounts to?
The award amounts to $1,680 yearly.
The number of awards offered varies each year.
The deadline date is set for March 1.
An Applicant must study at Wyoming community college.
A student must have a 2.5 Grade point average and 17 ACT score or 12 WorkKeys.
A student should demonstrate financial need.
- A student should be eligible for each level of the Hathaway Scholarship which is based on completing a Hathaway Success Curriculum it contains five content areas: math, language arts, science, social studies, and foreign language.
