  • Bachelor in Social Work- 4 years- To become a social worker, earning an undergraduate degree from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education Commission on Accreditation (CSWE)  is a requirement. To accelerate the time to earn the degree, you could pursue an online bachelor’s degree which offers diverse courses at a flexible schedule. 

  • Master’s Degree- 2 years- It is an advanced degree, you are offered with 33-36 credits to complete coursework and research. This is the minimum required degree according to the employer's perspectives. Choose an online master's degree to speed up the process and manage other responsibilities simultaneously. 

  • Experience- 6 months - 1 year: After completing your education you are required to complete a training period or gain experience as an intern in the relevant field which enhances your skills and prepares to land on a job. This also leads you to gain a license sooner.
