Accelerated BS/MD programs provide a consolidated course of study. The normal path through faculty and MEd faculty totals eight years, with four years spent on collegian and another four years spent in MEd faculty. Some BS/MD programs provide this course of study throughout a shorter time frame of seven or perhaps as few as six years.

In conclusion, a BS/MD program is not for everyone as not every single person has the same level of focus and clarity regarding their future career paths meaning only those that have a strong determination and resolute should ideally apply for a BS/MD program.
