U.S. Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF)

The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) is the main association committed to advancing the geospatial knowledge tradecraft and building a more grounded group of enthusiasm crosswise over the industry, the scholarly world, government, proficient associations and individual partners.

It is aimed at uniting the numerous disciplines engaged with the geospatial insights area to trade thoughts, share best practices, and advance the instruction and significance of a national geospatial knowledge motivation.

Decision Making Bodies of the Organization

All the decisions are taken by the Board of directors that is head by a Chairman of the Board.

The Board consists of 40 members with various experiences that take all the regulating decisions of the organization.


USGIF is the only certifying body that certifies programs on geospatial intelligence. They work to improve the educational standards of geospatial intelligence so that they can have better geospatial experts.
