Capitol Technology University is a private not-for-profit university found in 1927 in Laurel, Maryland, the United States as the Capitol Radio Engineering Institute. By 1980 the institute purchased the 52-acre former site of the Beltsville Speedway. In 2014 the name was changed from Capitol College to Capitol Technology University. It is committed to educating students by providing the required knowledge and skills to prepare them for the global workforce.
