Loyola University Maryland is a private Jesuit humanistic discipline university in Baltimore, Maryland. Established as Loyola College in Maryland by John Early and eight other members of the Society of Jesus in 1852, it's one among 28 member institutions of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities, the ninth-oldest Jesuit college within the US, and therefore the first college within the US in touch the name of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founding father of the Society of Jesus.
Loyola's main campus is in Baltimore and features Collegiate Gothic, also as a footbridge across Charles Street. Loyola University Maryland is split into three schools: the Loyola College of Arts and Sciences, the Loyola School of Education, and therefore the Sellinger School of Business and Management. It operates a Clinical Center at Belvedere Square in Baltimore and has graduate centres in Timonium and Columbia, Maryland.
