Ashworth College (AC) is a private for-profit educational institution that was established in the year 1987 as a Professional Career Development Institute. The college is located in Norcross, Georgia, and offers a number of educational programs at undergraduate levels. In 2004, the college started providing a master's degree.

The college began by offering a single program in real estate appraisal via distance education. The course gained popularity which encouraged the founders to expand the college, hence they expanded the range of courses being offered. It led to increased enrollments and the institution started offering Associate, Bachelor, and Master degree programs. 

It is the first online college in Georgia to get accredited and hold a Delta Epsilon Tau National Honor Society charter. The college focuses on providing flexible and affordable education to the students which are industry-oriented and relevant.

Presently, the college holds an alumni network of more than 300,000 students located all across the world. The student population is diverse, hailing from different ethnicities and backgrounds making it a popular choice. Requirements for Undergraduate Programs

For enrollment into Ashworth's Undergraduate Certificate, Associate, and Bachelor’s Degree Programs, the candidates must meet the following admission requirements.

  • A completed high school diploma or a GED with officials transcripts.

  • Homeschooled students need to provide a portfolio of their homeschooling projects, monthly logs, resources used, the progress made, and many more.

  • Associate Degree Candidates will enroll in pay & enroll per semester basis where they pay for a semester and enroll with a separate enrollment agreement.

  • Students can begin their lessons as they receive the course materials.

  • Ashworth has to receive the official transcripts from the applicant to maintain their student status.


Requirements for Graduate Programs

For enrollment into Ashworth's Graduate Certificate and Master Degree programs, the candidates must meet the following requirements.

  • Students must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA with official transcripts from a recognized accredited college or university.

  • GRE or GMAT test scores are not required.

  • Master Degree Candidates will enroll in pay & enroll per semester basis where they pay for a semester and enroll with a separate enrollment agreement.

  • Students can access an Orientation and first lessons right after enrollment is processed.

  • In order to maintain the student status, students have to gain a passing grade in their course and their official transcripts must be approved.
