California Coast University (CCU) is a private for-profit institution that was established back in the year 1973 and was formerly known as the California Western University. The university got its current name in the year 1981. It is a distance learning university that offers various levels of degree and certification programs.
It was established with the idea of forming an institution of higher learning designed to educate students who aren’t able to attend a traditional classroom setting school.
Initially, The Founder, Dr. Thomas Neal, assembled a team, the job of the team was to create degree programs and courses. The team consists of members with a wide variety of professional experience from both the academic world and the private sector. The programs were designed to help the student understand the real-life challenges and scenarios.
