Transfer Admissions Requirements

  • The minimum GPA requirement for the transfer applicant is 2.5 however some of the programs have more stringent cumulative GPA requirements.

  • Transfer applicants must generally be in good standing with their previous institutes at the time of application.

International Admission Requirements

  • Applicants are required to submit copies of all transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. Failure to do so will disqualify the applicant.

  • Applicants are also required to submit official transcript evaluations from all colleges and universities attended.

  • International applicants who have completed less than a full academic year of college (45 quarter hours or 30 semester hours) must also request official transcripts from their secondary/high schools. These transcripts must be sent directly from the school(s) in separate sealed envelopes to the Office of Admissions.

  • The international students are also required to submit the proof of English proficiency in addition to the regular application requirements. Proficiency in English is also required

Graduate Admissions Requirements

  • All graduate applicants must either hold an undergraduate baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution or be in the final stages of obtaining such a degree.

  • Applicants who are in the process of obtaining their degree are encouraged to apply by the university.

  • Different degree programs offered by the university may have additional specific admission requirements.

International Application Requirements

  • International applicants needing an F1 student visa must complete the regular admissions procedures and the procedures outlined below before a Form I-20 will be issued.

  • Official test scores showing English language proficiency.

  • If the international student is requesting an I-20, they need to provide a financial statement of support and copies of all current visa status documents must be submitted.

  • Non-resident alien applicants not needing to request an I-20 are required to follow the regular admission procedures, submit an International Supplemental Application, and provide proof of English proficiency.

  • Permanent resident alien applicants who are proficient in English must provide a copy of their Resident Alien Card and follow the regular admissions policies described earlier in this section of the Catalog.
