Catholic Distance University is a private not-for-profit institution that was established by a Bishop Thomas J. Welsh in the year 1983. It is a Christian University which offers online programs. The mission of Catholic Distance college is to speak the thoughts and heart of the Church in a virtual world. The university provides distance education, educates instructors and newbies worldwide in Catholic theology, the liberal arts, and religion improvement for the growth of faith, ecclesial provider, and management for the New Evangelization.
