There is a public university in Kokomo, IN called Indiana University-Kokomo. Indiana University-Kokomo covers an area of 51 acres. The foundation of Indiana University-Kokomo was laid down in the year 1945. Indiana University-Kokomo believes in imparting education and contributing to society by focusing on innovation, research, education, and commitment. The motto of the university is Fulfilling the Promise and its official colors are cream, crimson and black. In addition to over 2,969 undergraduate students, IUK also boasts of over 195 students in its postgraduate courses, taking the total enrollment to over 3,029 (2017). The school has a total of 210 Academic Staff, 20 Executive/Admin, 118 Support Staff (2014) academic staff. These faculty teach different courses to the students.
