Kentucky State University (KSU) is a public university established in the year 1886 as a land-grant institution. Kentucky State College became the university in 1972. It is located at Frankfort, Kentucky in 882 acres that include 311 acres of agricultural research.

There are 135 full-time instructional faculties and about 1,736 student population at KSU. It offers an Associate degree in 3 programs, a Baccalaureate degree in 24 programs, and a Master’s degree in 5 programs.
