Northeast Ohio Medical University, which is located in Rootstown, Ohio is a public university. The university covers an area of 120 acres. It was in 1973 when the Northeast Ohio Medical University was founded. Blue and gray are the official colors of the Northeast Ohio Medical University. Across all the courses offered at Northeast Ohio Medical University, the enrolment stands at 959 (Fall 2019) M.D. - 586 Pharm.D. - 340 Graduate - 33 Dual Enrollment- 19. To teach various courses to the students, the school has employed a total of 96 Rootstown-based faculty. The college has produced several achievers in its 47 years of existence and some of the notable alumni are Amy Acton, Angela Funovits, Amit Majmudar, and Crystal Mackall. The school believes in the all-round growth of the students and therefore, encourages students to take part in several sporting activities, conducted inside the campus. Further, it boasts of a decent sports infrastructure. A total of 13 programs, including both residential and online, are currently offered by NOMU.
