Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) is a private not-for-profit theological seminary. Reformed Theological Seminary was founded in the year 1966. This seminary was started by five ministers who gathered to pray and discuss as there were no seminaries in the Southeastern part of the United States. They built a small campus in Jackson of 14 acres. Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) opened its gates to residents of Jackson in the fall of the same year.

Reformed Theological Seminary is now has a total of 5 fully residential campuses in Jackson, Orlando, Charlotte, Washington DC and Atlanta. RTS now also has an online campus as RTS Global, Reformed Theological Seminary online campus is to provide distance education. Reformed Theological Seminary is also tied up other ministries to provide education internationally with six countries.

Degree Programs at Reformed Theological Seminary:

Reformed Theological Seminary Accreditation:

Reformed Theological Seminary accreditation is done by the Association of Theological Schools. To award masters and doctorate degrees, Reformed Theological Seminary is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC). Students who see that RTS is not following the standards or has violated any of the standards and write to Academic Dean, if the reply is not satisfied, one can complain directly to the Association of Theological Schools.

Reformed Theological Seminary Financial Aid:

  • RTS has many programs to support their students financially.

  • Students of RTS are expected to apply for financial aid soon after their admissions.

  • Students are also offered On-Campus Work which will help them with their expenses.

  • They also have scholarships for distance education programs which will pay up to 50% of the tuition fees.
