In addition to furnishing the required documents and information, the applicants also need to deposit an application fee of $60. Every university and university has its own application deadlines, but they fall around the same time. Early applicants (early action, early decision, or single-choice early action) generally need to get their applications in November which varies for different universities. In the due course of scrutinizing applications, the varsity also considers various factors to make error-less decisions. Fall applications, which are rather preferred by the students, start in September and usually go on till April. Though the final deadline is in April, a deadline has been set in September as well. As the varsity also provides scholarships, those students who wish to be considered for such grants must apply by September, i.e., before the April-deadline, so that the scrutinizing processes can be carried out properly. These scholarships will help the students fund their education and also help them be a part of other initiatives hosted by the sponsoring team.

In 2021, Santa Clara University had an acceptance rate of around 49%, accepting 8,107 out of 16,402 applicants.
Out of the 8,107 who were accepted, 1,319 new students enrolled, for an admission yield of 17%.
These acceptance rates are for the entire college, not specifically the Santa Clara University School of Law.
These statistics are similar to some of the other universities in the area, like Loyola Marymount University (LMU), which has an acceptance rate of 47%.
SCU is a lot more accessible than some of the more prestigious schools in the region.
For example, the University of Southern California (USC) has an acceptance rate of 13%, and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) has an acceptance rate of 12%.
While one of the smaller universities in the region, SCU is still a popular choice among ambitious students.
If you have above-average SAT or ACT scores, you will be a strong candidate.
However, SAT and ACT scores that students average are still high, with an average SAT score range between 1,270–1,440 and an average ACT score range between 28–32.
Of course, your test score isn’t the only factor that admissions will consider — they also look at your application letter, high school transcript, and more.
The official admissions deadline for next term is January 7.
