Saybrook University is accredited by the Senior Commission of Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Saybrook participates in a regularly scheduled re-accreditation process conducted by the Senior Commission of WASC. The university reaccredited itself in 2015, with the accreditation process occurring every 10 years. Saybrook received its first accreditation in 1984. The university’s Clinical Psychology program is accredited by the WASC but does not have programmatic accreditation by the American Psychological Association (APA).
