Located in Montevallo, AL, University of Montevallo is a public university. The foundation of University of Montevallo was laid down in the year 1896. University of Montevallo believes in imparting education and contributing to society by focusing on innovation, research, education, and commitment. The motto of the university is You Belong at Montevallo and its official colors are purple and gold. In addition to over 2,236 undergraduate students, UM also boasts of over 317 students in its postgraduate courses, taking the total enrollment to over 2,600.
