Virginia University of Integrative Medicine follows a simple application and admission process that includes a total of 4 steps, which are as follows: Step 1 that a prospective candidate needs to complete: Submitting the application The first step in VUIM's admission procedure is applying to the university. To apply to the university, interested candidates can either call the university at (703) 323-5690 or do it through online mode to secure admission. They can also follow an alternate way to take admission to the university by visiting its admissions office at 9401 Mathy Drive Ste 100, Fairfax, Virginia 22031-5310. They can contact the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine admissions office by phone as well. Step 2: Acceptance by VUIM It should be noted by the candidates that submitting ACT and SAT scores is recommended but not mandatory at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine. Further, after submitting the form and depositing the enrollment fee, to receive their admission decision, students are required to submit the following documents:
Essay: Also known as the personal statement, the essay submitted by an applicant offers them a unique way to showcase their achievements and personality. It is advised that applicants include personal experiences and anecdotes as well.
Transcripts: Submitting the necessary high-school and university transcripts is an important part of the evaluation process. An applicant can use Parchment (or similar platforms) to submit the same.
Official Test Scores: As mentioned above, submitting SAT and ACT scores at VUIM is not mandatory and not all students submit them. Moreover, by submitting these official scores, a candidate can make a stronger claim for securing a seat at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine. The university may request additional documents or information from the applicants once the reviewing process is over. Step 3: Confirm Your Attendance As part of the Step 3 in the admission process, the candidates must confirm their attendance to Virginia University of Integrative Medicine. The candidates will be required to complete their Financial Check-In process and select their housing, too. Review and verification of Summary of Accounts and Financial Aid (scholarships, fees, and tuition costs), choosing a lodging option, selecting a payment plan, and making the first payment are some of the processes included in the admission at the varsity. Before proceeding to register for classes, candidates also have to complete the Math and English assessments. Step 4: Register for Classes Once all the processes mentioned above are completed, the candidates will be required to register for courses.
