Washington & Jefferson College is a small, selective liberal arts college in southwestern Pennsylvania with serious academics and a real sense of institutional identity. The curriculum includes a required capstone project where you work independently or in teams on research or creative work—real scholarship, not busywork. Professors genuinely mentor students through this process.
Strong programs across the board—engineering, sciences, history, and economics are particularly respected.
