This award is available for U.S. and Canadian undergraduate students who are 18 years of age or older and are pursuing welding or engineering technology degrees. Students must have a minimum GPA 2.8 or a minimum 3.0 GPA in engineering courses. Priority is given to those residing or attending school in Alabama, Georgia or Florida. Eligibility Criteria
This award is for international and U.S. students. Must be a citizen of the U.S. or Canada. Must major in welding engineering or engineering technology degree. Priority will be given to welding engineering students interested in pursuing a career with an industrial gas or welding equipment distributor. Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent at time of application. The applicant must be enrolled at an accredited four-year college or university to apply for this undergraduate award. Must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in engineering courses. Must be 18 years of age or older at time of application. Must be a full-time student as defined by the applicant's academic institution. Priority will be given to those individuals residing or attending school in the states of Alabama, Georgia or Florida.
