About the Scholarship

This award is for U.S students who are residents of New Hampshire and plan to enroll at an eligible New Hampshire community college. The student must be currently employed, at least part-time, in a NH licensed (or license-exempt) early childhood program, or a licensed family child care program, and must be taking early childhood courses through CCSNH. Eligibility Criteria

Must be employed either full or part time in a licensed NH child care center or family child care program with children six weeks to five years of age. Child care teachers must work a minimum of 25 hours per week to be eligible for assistance. Directors seeking assistance must be working a minimum of 30 hours per week to be eligible. Must be enrolled at one of the following seven Community College System of New Hampshire colleges: Great Bay Community College (formerly NHCTC Stratham); Lakes Region Community College; Manchester Community College; Nashua Community College; New Hampshire Technical Institute-Concord; River Valley Community College; or White Mountains Community College. Must be currently enrolled as a college freshman or sophomore. Must be taking an early childhood education (ECE) course taught by faculty possessing a New Hampshire Early Childhood Master Professional Credential, with Faculty Endorsement. Please note: Non-ECE courses are not eligible for funding under this program, even if required for degree completion. This award is for U.S students.
