About the Scholarship
This"Charles L. Hebner Memorial Scholarship" award is awarded by the organization Delaware Higher Education Office for four years of full-time undergraduate studies of Humanities/liberal arts, social/behavioural sciences, Political science/government. This scholarship is awarded by the organization Delaware Higher Education Office and gives assistance to the eligible students for their full tuition fees, board, room and books.
How to apply for the scholarship?
Applications are available on the official website Delaware Higher Education Office and all the applicants must access the online application in order to apply for this scholarship.
- A student must submit unofficial transcription.
- A student should follow the instructions in the Common Merit Application.
A student must submit the Official scorecards of ACT/SAT to demonstrate the completion of the graduation semester as well as academic performance.
A student must also submit two reference letters.
All the official, unofficial, transcript and documents should be submitted before the deadline.
The awarded amount for the scholarship:
The amount awarded for this scholarship is $22,361 per year and is renewable for three additional years. The number of awards given to the eligible candidates per year is two.
Deadline for the scholarship:
The deadline for this scholarship is the 4th of March.
At the time of applying for this scholarship, the candidate must be a graduating high school senior.
The applicant must be a legal resident of Delaware.
The applicant must reside in the U.S. or be an eligible non-citizen.
The applicant's combined SAT score must be 1000 or higher.
The average grade point of the applicant must be 3.0 or higher.
The applicant must be a plan to enrol at Delaware State University.
He/she must be a full-timer.
He/she must rank in the upper half (top 50 per cent) of his/her high school class.
